Is Linking Relevant and Why Recommend These Links?
“To link or not to link, that is the question!”
To link or not to link and what kinds of links are appropriate is something every Internet marketer wrestles with.
Not only whether to link or not but who to accept and whom to reject! I have had a link of open door policy when it comes to linking but I am discovering that may be ill-advised. The more I learn, the more I learn I need to learn when it comes to Internet marketing and particularly when it comes to search engine optimization, SEO.
Additionally, it is difficult to know if the various search engines will construe the links as an artificial SEO/SPAM technique used to bolster ranking. Consequently, I have adjusted my open-door linking policy several times of the past year or two.
My recent excursion into my Internet marketing education has been invaluable to me, and it is an education I wholeheartedly endorse. An education in Internet marketing is not complete without an extensive education into all things SEO. Search engine optimization is crucial and understanding it takes an Internet marketing PhD of sorts!
