Is Linking Relevant and Why We’ve Pulled Down Links?
“To link or not to link, that is the question!”
To link or not to link and what kinds of links are appropriate is something every Internet marketer wrestles with. Not only whether to link or not but who to accept and whom to reject! I have had a kind of open door policy when it comes to linking but I have discovered that may be ill-advised. The more I learn, the more I learn I need to learn when it comes to Internet marketing and, in particular, search engine optimization, SEO. Yes, SEO is being phased out…or is, at the very least, changing rapidly. However, it is still important and Google slaps hard! So, until we have a firmer grasp on what Google and the other search engines are looking for, and punishing, we will err on the side of extreme caution.
